Use this template when preparing manuscripts for IJEGSI. Type your text into the Word file so layout, fonts, and citations match journal requirements.

Page Layout

This template is tailored for A4 output. The easiest way to comply is to download the file and type your manuscript into it.

Page size: A4 (8.27 in wide × 11.69 in long).
Margins: Top 0.55 in, Bottom 0.5 in, Left 1 in, Right 1 in.
Two-column format with 0.27 in space between columns.
Use Cambria throughout. Other fonts may be used only for special purposes.

Title and Author Details

Title and author details must be in a single-column format and centered.

Title: 14pt capital bold.
Author names: 12pt bold. Do not include professional titles (Director, Manager), academic titles (Dr., Professor), or membership designations.
Write the family name as the last part of each author name (e.g. Sarah I. Brown).
Affiliations, email addresses, and corresponding-author details: 10pt regular.
Each affiliation must include at least the department, university or company, and the state and country (e.g. Lucky University, Alberta, Canada).

Abstract and Keywords

Abstract heading: 10pt capital bold.
Abstract text: 10pt regular.
Keywords heading: 10pt italic bold.
Keywords text: 10pt regular, separated by semicolons. Include at least 3 and no more than 10 keywords or phrases.

Headings

Use no more than three heading levels. All headings are 9pt.

Level-1: 9pt capital bold (e.g. INTRODUCTION).
Level-2: 9pt regular (e.g. Page Layout).
Level-3: 9pt italic (e.g. Headings).

Figures and Tables

Place figures and tables at the top or bottom of columns, not in the middle.
Large figures and tables may span both columns.
Figure captions go below the figures; table heads go above the tables.

References

All references must be in 9pt font. Number them consecutively in square brackets in the text (e.g. [1]). Use regular and italic styles to distinguish different fields as shown in the examples.
